Zoo Boo

We went to the Indianapolis Zoo Boo yesterday and the girls got to dress up in their batgirl costumes again. We went early and thank goodness for that because it started getting really busy. Almost too busy for a small zoo. We decorated cookies, did pumpkin bowling, fed the birds, watched wizard of oz 4d, and checked out a few of the animals.

Until next time.

Chicago

Last weekend we took a mini vacation to Chicago. Josh and some of his buddies ran in the Urbanathlon. They have made this a tradition and claim that they are going to continue until they are old men. I ran in it last year and swore I would never do it again.

Of course we did some shopping while we were there. Guess where our first stop was?

Sophs was in heaven.
This is where Suri could have spent hours.

Old school legos. Who would have thought? She was so into them.

We definitely couldn't miss out on the Chicago style pizza.

How delicious does this look? And it was!

We also did a little sightseeing. The girls were so impressed with the bean. Sophs loved the Chicago institute of art and said that is where she is going to for fashion school. Grandparents we may need a little help with that one.

All in all, a great trip! Until next time.......

Trunk or treat

On Friday night Suri's school held a trunk or treat. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and the event had to be held indoors. No biggie! The girls had fun dressing up and seeing their friends and teachers. I absolutely love the girls costumes this year. Girl power!

They crack me up.
Until next time....

renaissance fair

Last weekend Josh took the girls up to see his family. They went to the Renaissance fair. Josh texted me this during the day and said "just google larping and you will understand the Renaissance fair". Anyhow, the girls had a ton of fun.

I went down to Madison last weekend to go to the Chataqua. My mom, sis, aunt, and cousin always go to this together. I should have really beautiful pictures of all of the Artwork or the gorgeous views of downtown Madison but instead I have this.

Yep, I'm 32 and take inappropriate pictures with wiener signs. I blame my sister.

Until next time.
