Quiet house

It has been a weird evening tonight without Sophs. Very very quiet and I haven't even come close to hitting my question answering quota for the day. Sophs went to the zoo today with boo, zack and kykie.

Suri and I went to Madison this weekend. We had a great time. We saw lots of family, did some swimming, and ate some really fantastic food. Surs was worn out when we got in the car to head home.

Lessons

Well, we've learned 2 things this week.

1. If Sophs has a water chugging contest with a buddy there is a 100 percent chance that she will projectile vomit.

2. Parents must communicate or your 5 year old may go to swim lessons without a bathing suit. See pic.

Sophia's Summer

Sophia's last summer before kindergarten is jam packed! She is still going to school 4 days since Josh is consumed (fo realz, it's ridiculous and I'm grumpy about it) with basketball... Grrrrrrrr!!! Anywho, jam packed summer...Sophia... That's where we were, right? This week Sophs has swimming lessons, and she is loving it. She gets about 50 minutes of one on one lessons and just soaks up all of the attention she gets. Next week she will have basketball camp (Josh says she doesn't have a choice. I agree with him on this one). The week after that she is going to stay with papi and boo. And the week after that we are on vacation. Then in July Sophs will have a week of volleyball camp and a couple days of shooting camp... Shewwwwww. Busy girl.

Sweet treats

I saw this little treat idea in a magazine and wanted to give it a shot with my little chef in training. Sophs LOVES to help me in the kitchen. She is always scooting her chair up to the counter to see what she can do. And, she is never far away when it comes to licking the spoon. I love this girl.

Oh, and just because she has the sweetest face in the world, here's Surs.

Worms..... Gross!

As I was digging up about 24 of these things

No clue what they were .....onions maybe?????
Sophs was collecting worms.

I told her that "sure, go ahead pick those worms up" because that's what kids are supposed to do. But in my head I was thinking "please don't touch your face, we need to wash hands, and if you come near me with those things I'm gonna BRING THE PAIN!!!!". Worms rank right up there with spiders in my book. Creepy!

Circus

We had our own little private circus tonight. Sophia has 5 years of training and looked like a pro.

Surs is still a work in progress but she held her own.
