At home spa

Sophia and I pampered ourselves a little tonight. We did facial, pedicures, and a hair conditioning. Sophs loved it.

Butler

Once again, the Butler Bulldogs are making a surprising and impressive run in the tourney. The Sabol household is prepared for some serious cheering.

Children's Museum

We took the girls the the Indianapolis Children's Museum today and they had a ball.

Suri LOVED the playscape area especially the water tables.

Sophs said her favorite part was the Barbie room.

A worker at the museum handed me these tickets before checking out the train station. If only this train was still running........

After the museum we headed over to Butler to pick up some tshirts. Josh had to get a shot of Hinkle.

This morning Josh had a brief conversation with Suri about her college plans. Listen carefully.....

Overall, a fun day.....

Park

What a gorgeous day today! We bundled the girls up, well suri at least, and took them to the park to play with some friends. Sophia insists on picking her own clothes out. This used to be on the weekends only, but now pretty much goes on every day. It is one of those "choose your battles" situations. I choose not to fight about this. So, she is wearing black tights a green corduroy dress and a sweat top. And...she thinks she looks fabulous. So really that is all that matters. We stayed at the park for an hour and a half. Surs LOVED it. She was owning the rolling slide.

Dress shopping

Sophia is going to be a flower girl in one of my friends wedding. We had so much fun playing dress up. Sophia's main goal was to find a dress that spun. My main goal was to buy the dress. Here are some shots from our appointment.

Stuffy noses and stiff necks

This weekend has been........yucky!!!!! The weather was gorgeous..... Okay that's all the positives you get in this post people. That's all I got and it was difficult to even type that.

For one Suri has the stuffiest nose EVER! Babies and stuffy noses don't mix. Especially if they want to eat or drink or sleep. And God forbid you wipe their snotty sore nose. Poor baby. She has been super clingy.

Secondly, I woke up Saturday with a stiff neck. So stiff I couldn't even tip my head back to get a sip of water. I must have just strained it in exercise class or something. I've maxed out on tylenol and ibuprofen.

And, despite feeling like poo myself I had to function as a single parent most of the weekend because Josh had a tourney to coach. Argh!!! So, suck it up molly!

Poor Sophs has been bored out of her mind. Thank goodness for some friends that came over to play. They made some brownies, danced, and did some gymnastics. (okay I lied. There is your second positive.)

Suri also managed to get a hold of a black marker. She tried to eat it.

So, here's hoping this week is a good one.

Until next time.......

Ball Game

Yesterday the four of us went to the Big Ten Women's tourney in downtown Indy. The girls were surprisingly well behaved. Sure we used candy and other concessions as our weapons of choice, but you gotta do what you gotta do. After that game we went to the Sectional Championship game. Our Trojans won!! Woohoo! Here are a couple pics from the day.

Suri was totally giving me the stink eye.

Ever try to talk to Josh when he is watching a ball game? Well, this is the response you would get.....

This is what Suri looked like this morning. My little wild child.

Date Night.....with Sophs

Last night Sophs and I went to eat sushi and saw Rango. Sophs is the craziest child ever. She ate more sushi than me. She also loved the salted edamame (did I spell that right?). Rango was cute. However, they cursed....a few times... I think all of the parents in the theatre were caught off guard. Sophie and I are looking forward to the movie Rio. Now that looks hilarious.
